Reading easy books

A digressed writing that started out wanting to compare different types of easy books and the author's reaction to them

Reading easy books is easy. I think of I, Robot when I say this. Easy books are very often unrewarding. They feel like junk. I think of Dan Brown when I say this.

I, Robot was very well written. Explored ideas nicely. And actually predicted many things about the development of AI and human-AI interaction rather well if you cherrypick.

I don’t know what happens if you choose not to cherrypick. I’m not the best of debaters or thinkers.

I think about what I am. Whether I am a winner who wins by thinking. Always under control. Always aware. I’m not. I’m not that thing. Yet I believe because I once was the thing.

Here’s to lost identities strongly remembered.

If it resonated, you know what to do.
